Strac: The More Robust,
No-code DLP, CASB, & SWG
Netskope Alternative

If you’re looking for a Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Scanning provider then you’ve probably heard of Netskope and their Netskope One product. Netskope is a traditional provider that’s not as secure as it could be. Isn’t it time to look for a more effective Netskope alternative?

Netskope vs Strac: Simpler, more affordable pricing, and so secure Strac can preemptively anticipate and neutralize cybersecurity threats

Strac: Cutting-edge DLP, Scanning, CASB, & Remediation

Strac is a cutting-edge SaaS, Endpoint, Cloud, and Generative AI cybersecurity vendor that provides enterprise-grade compliant Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Scanning, Remediation, and CASB solutions. Strac uses AI and machine learning to offer predictive and proactive security, while also protecting your customer data from being used by AI models. Preemptively anticipate and neutralize data leaks with our forward-thinking cybersecurity solutions.

Netskope: SASE but not safe enough to keep your data secure and costs down

Netskope is a cybersecurity and compliance company that provides solutions to protect your organization’s people and data. It comes with Netskope One, a Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) Zero Trust platform, and the NewEdge SSE network. However, Netskope doesn’t include dozens of easy-to-implement SaaS integrations like Strac. Its user experience (UX/UI) can be difficult at times, syncs often fail, and getting it up-and-running isn’t easy. Pricing is also complex and can get expensive, and Netskope doesn’t have redaction remediation.

Here’s what Top companies has
to say about

Implementation of the platform is complex and require expertise. The pricing structure is also complicated and may not be suitable for smaller budgets. Also, as a SaaS platform, it has performance issues sometimes.

Pricing is high compared to other vendors

Netskope client and UI sync often fails. Often fails to Re-categorised websites repo, making legit sites unaccessible. Netskope client often impact the internet speed on end user machines, even sometimes killing the internet completely. Support lacks technical competency, often suggest a re-installation as a solution for every issue.

We have netskope since a year but start to really exploit it for 4 month (since my arrival to the company). Since the implementation we got a lot of issue : latency issue accessing to certain web sites, certificate problems when using certain tools like python, a lot of problems with desktop application. What disturb me also a lot is that we are adding more and more bypass for certain applications specially those from apple Microsoft because the encryption /decryption don’t work well so we miss the traffic analysis also , that is not the objective.

It is not easy to integrate Netskope with some other security tools. It needs a bit more research and brainstorming to do that.
